Mark your calendar for Saturday, May 5th, 10 – 3 pm at the Zoo. Activities are included with admission. What better way to celebrate Earth Day than with the planet’s amazing and diverse wildlife? Come connect with nature and wildlife at this annual Earth Day event. More than 120 of the top zoos and aquariums across North America are throwing a Party for the Planet, making it the largest combined Earth Day celebration in North America!

A Donation in honor of Earth Day! Conservation is a key pillar of John Ball Zoo. Through donations tied to Animals! Animals! — via the John Ball Zoo Wildlife Conservation Fund — we have contributed to conservation initiatives locally and around the world.
Animal Sponsorship Program: Animals! Animals! provides an opportunity for you to support our animals and our mission of inspiring people to be active participants in the conservation of wildlife and our natural environment. We care for more than 1,300 animals representing 271 species. Your sponsorship supports animals at John Ball Zoo as well as animals around the world.
Wildlife Conservation Fund
The Zoo is committed to protecting the planet and using resources wisely. Since 1985, John Ball Zoo’s Wildlife Conservation Fund has contributed more than 100 conservation programs in 30 countries. While attending Party for the Planet, you’ll have opportunities to learn about the John Ball Zoo Conservation Fund and its work to reverse the decline of at-risk wildlife.
