John Ball Zoo invites your group to visit the zoo! Discounted admission and discounted items are available for pre-purchase for groups wishing to visit during the 2021 season. Check out the different options below! For more information, please email groupsales@jbzoo.org or by calling 616.336.4307.

Group Visits

Established Youth Oriented Organizations

Groups who wish to visit the Zoo from an Established Youth Oriented Organization can purchase discounted admission when they pre-register for a field trip and pre-pay at least three weeks in advance. Some examples of these groups included: day camp programs, learning centers, established childcare centers, and more.

School Groups

Schools receive a special discounted rate during the traditional school year. Thanks to the passing of the Zoo and Museum Millage Kent County Schools receive free admission during school group visits. For these special school rate discounts visit Schools/Teachers.

Park Reservations

Reserved Park picnic areas are available. You can check availability and reserve one of the 7 different picnic areas in John Ball Park through our web store. Reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance. Park Reservations
