Scout Badge Programs

Start earning your next badge at the Zoo! These two hour programs will help complete requirements for a badge, journey, beltloop or pin. Each program includes an up-close animal encounter, zoo tour and hands-on activities.

Girl Scout Art Class

Always drawing animals or interested in earning a fun badget together with your troop? Enjoy this guided animal drawing class! This open drawing opportunity allows you to explore the anatomy of some of our Zoo Ambassador animals. We'll provide different drawing materials, paper, and drawing boards for all artists. Find the perfect angle and let's get drawing! Materials included in the price of the class. Price is per artist. We welcome 1 adult per scout family. No unpaid family members will be allowed to participate in order to maintain safe social distancing. Class is 45 minutes and includes a badge and Zoo admission voucher for participant.*

September 19:  11am, 1pm, 3pm

*Please note, September 19 is a Wizarding Weekend event day at the Zoo. Vouchers will be good for the 1/2 hour time slot immediately following the class (i.e. 11am class vouchers will be for Zoo entry between 12-12:30, 1pm vouchers will be for entry between 2-2:30, 3pm vouchers will be for entry between 4-4:30). Zoo attendance is expected to be high and possibly sell out. We strongly encourage any additional ticket purchases be done as soon as possible to guarantee entrance into the Zoo at the allotted time.
